My Path

I have been practising shamanism since 2010, with my practice developing over many years through journeying, trance work, healing practice and working directly with helping spirits.

I have trained in core shamanism with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies in the United States and The Sacred Trust in the UK. My training includes Harner Shamanic Counseling and the Foundation's Two Week Shamanic Healing Intensive, alongside continued training and practice both in person and online.

In addition to core shamanism, I work with Seiðr and Northern European shamanic practice, learning from experienced practitioners in the UK and Scandinavia. I have facilitated High Seat rites and taught Seiðr and seership both in person and online.

Where shamanism & creativity meet

Creative work has long been part of my shamanic practice. I have worked with silver for around fifteen years and, as a qualified Art Clay instructor, have taught workshops in the UK, Denmark and Germany exploring talismans, power objects and spiritually meaningful jewellery.

Over time, these strands have become increasingly intertwined. I am particularly interested in how something received through journeying or trance — a pattern, form, sound, quality or other guidance from spirits — can be brought into physical form, creating an object that can carry something of that encounter into ordinary reality.

The Path Beyond grew from this meeting of shamanic practice and creative work.

Whether through Shamanic Counselling or Creating with Spirits, the emphasis is on developing your own relationship with your helping spirits: learning to interact with them directly and receive their guidance and support for yourself. My role is to provide the framework, experience and support that can help you develop and explore that relationship.
